Join us for a very special screening of Farmers For America at the Court Square Theater.

The Location: The Court Square Theater is an independent theater that was built in 1998 as part of the revitalization of Harrisonburg's historic downtown.

At 7, the film will be introduced by the director. Directly following there will be a discussion about the future of farming with some of the most innovative and influential voices of American Agriculture:

Joel Salatin is a Christian libertarian environmentalist capitalist lunatic farmer. Others who like him call him the most famous farmer in the world, the high priest of pasture, and the most eclectic thinker from Virginia since Thomas Jefferson. Those who don't like him call him a bio-terrorist, Typhoid Mary, charlatan and starvation advocate.

Daniel Salatin has gone from carrying freshly processed chickens while in diapers, to running and over-seeing the day-to-day workings of Polyface. As a seven-year old he started a pastured rabbit enterprise and invented a multi-species symbiotic farming system called the Raken house.

Graham Meriwether is the director of Farmers For America and previously American Meat. His documentary work focuses on elevating the voice of farmers in the national discourse about food and farming. He is also the founder and director of Leave It Better Foundation- a non-profit that focuses on youth-led programs centered on healing- both inside and out.
